| During my
50 years in the dance business I have spent a considerable
amount of time in the USA and Canada lecturing and teaching
all dance styles from Ballroom & Latin through to Disco,
Rock -n- Roll and Line Dance.
I have judged the following championships:
- The
French Ballroom & Latin Championships
- The
Italian Ballroom
& Latin Championships
- The
Canadian Ballroom
& Latin Championships
- Mediterranean
Freestyle Championships
1991/2/3
In 1980 I
studied 'The Hustle' at the New York Dance Factory
which soon became a feature as a together dance in the world
freestyle championships.
During 1981 worked with Pierre Dulaine
& June Laberta in New York on new Line Dance work and
later published scripts which had world wide circulation.
In 1996 I set the first Country &
Western Line Dance professional exam for the I.D.T.A.
and was instrumental in getting most of the big names in this
dance style into the association.
I am also a past Chairman of the Freestyle
Branch and Southern Area Branch of the I.D.T.A.
you can also find the I.D.T.A. web address on my Links
page.
